Privacy Policy - Wiper Dodge

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Summary: Wiper Dodge is a free, ad-supported game. We don’t ask who you are, we don’t create accounts, and your scores stay on your device. The app shows ads through Google AdMob and collects anonymous gameplay statistics through Aptabase — this policy explains exactly what that means.

1. Our Privacy Commitment

Wiper Dodge was built to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no personal profiles. We never see your name, email address, or anything that identifies you. The game is free and financed by ads; the sections below describe plainly what the advertising and analytics services involved can and cannot see.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No name, email address, or phone number
  • No account or login of any kind
  • No location data
  • No contacts, photos, or files
  • No microphone or camera access
  • No tracking without your explicit permission — cross-app tracking for advertising happens only if you allow it through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, and declining changes nothing about the game

3. Data That Stays on Your Device

DataWhere it lives
Your top-5 high scores and best scoreOn your device only
Sound and haptics settingsOn your device only
Play counters (e.g. number of runs, used to pace ads)On your device only

None of this is uploaded, synced, or visible to us.

4. Permissions We Request

Wiper Dodge requests one optional permission and nothing else — no location, no microphone, no camera, no notifications.

Tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency — optional)

On first launch, Apple’s standard tracking prompt asks whether Google may use your device’s advertising identifier to show more relevant ads. If you decline, you see the same number of ads — they are simply less relevant. The permission is asked once and never again; no tracking occurs unless you allow it.

5. How Your Data Flows

[Your touch] → [The game on your device] → scores & settings stay here

├──→ [Google AdMob] ad requests (see section 6)
└──→ [Aptabase, EU] anonymous gameplay events

6. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (advertising)

Wiper Dodge shows ads through Google AdMob: an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch to continue a run, and an occasional interstitial between games. To serve and measure ads, Google may process device information (such as device model, IP address, and advertising identifiers where permitted) under its own policies:

In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, a consent form is shown before any ads load, as required by EU law. Separately, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt controls whether Google may access the advertising identifier for personalized ads — with your permission only. Ad attribution on iOS otherwise uses Apple’s privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework, which does not identify you individually.

Aptabase (analytics)

We use Aptabase, a privacy-first analytics service hosted in the EU, to understand gameplay in aggregate — for example how long runs last and whether ads are declined. Aptabase does not collect device identifiers, does not track you, and events cannot be linked back to an individual person or device.

Apple Game Center (optional)

If you are signed in to Game Center, your best score is submitted to Apple’s leaderboard under your Game Center profile, governed by Apple’s privacy policy. If you are not signed in, nothing is submitted.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • On-device data (scores, settings, counters): deleted when you delete the app.
  • Aptabase events: anonymous by design; they cannot be traced back to you and are retained only as aggregate statistics.
  • Ad data: processed by Google under its own retention policies (see the links in section 6).

8. iCloud and Backups

Wiper Dodge does not sync anything to iCloud itself. Your device backup (iCloud or computer) may include the app’s local data — scores and settings — under your own Apple account.

9. Children’s Privacy

Wiper Dodge is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is not enrolled in Apple’s Kids Category.

10. Security

All network communication (ads, analytics) uses HTTPS. The app runs inside Apple’s iOS sandbox, and its local data is protected by your device’s own security.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, the new version will be published at this page with an updated “last updated” date. Material changes (for example, adding a new third-party service) will be called out in the app’s update notes.

12. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR), you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Wiper Dodge holds no personal data about you, so there is usually nothing for us to look up — but for anything related to advertising data, the consent form shown in the EEA/UK lets you review and change your choices, and Google’s privacy tools cover the rest. You can always contact us with questions using the details below.
